Why are these skills important?

The impact of technology on the way we learn, work, and live, has put pressure on schools to teach (and students to learn) new competencies that ready children for a successful academic and professional life.

Studies by leading organisations, such as the World Economic Forum and OECD, have proven that training students in 21st-century skills, coupled with traditional academic schooling is one of the best ways to develop these competencies.

The challenge though is schools cannot just teach soft using a textbook. Students need to use, understand and experience them to cement the learning and change their behaviours.
